With an emphasis on environmental and global awareness, Egotised Creations is not your ordinary "crafting" business. Every single product is 100% hand made in Edmonton with the utmost attention to detail. By recycling, reusing, reconstructing, and buying locally I am ensuring that my jewelry and art are environmentally conscious. With proceeds going to local animal charities, wearing a necklace and displaying fine art from Egotised Creations helps thousands of companion animals find forever homes.
Wearable Art
I am attracted to bright colors and loud patterns - as a result my jewelry is very vivid and bold. I started avidly collecting necklaces in 2005 and shortly thereafter I started making jewelry. My favorite materials are ones found in nature such as natural gemstones, minerals, and fossils (acquired through fair methods). I also enjoy working with vintage supplies and reconstructing recycled materials. I like large noticeable pieces that have some form of asymmetry or unique-ness. Necklaces are by far my favorite form of body adornment so I tend to design and create necklaces more than any other form of jewelry.
Art for Display
I have been creating art since I could walk; I have developed an eclectic style using bright bold colors and textures. The beauty found in nature, specifically the magnificence of birds, is what influences me. I have painted a diverse range of subjects, everything from birds to abstract faces. My preferred medium is acrylic on canvas, but I have used different mediums to express myself.
